Personal

About Bryan the Person. That is Jamie next to me, my best friend. We like to travel and do active things such as hiking, walking, and hanging off of buildings or cliffs. I also like building things in my shop and driving my huge truck over things.

We met through the fire service at a class. That was several years ago. I won't say how long because you'll start asking too many questions.

We both work long hours but find time to spend together, and with our dog Sage. Sage is the closest thing to a kid we will have for awhile.

We live in a little house in Forks Township Pennsylvania. We dream of moving away to a place that is close to action but secluded. If you have any suggestions, let us know.

Information Technology

Bryan the I.T. Swiss Army Knife.

I work for Computer Aid Inc. who provides contract technical and managment services to several thousand clients world-wide.

Presently, I serve as the Chief Architect and Development Manager for Lehigh County. In this role I am responsible for designing the software infrastructure and database back-bone for all systems in the County, and managing all third-party deployments and custom development. We have about 15 developers working to convert old-school mainframe applications to newer service oriented apps, primarily on the .NET platform.

This challenging position has me burning the candles at both ends... but in due time this should subside once I finish putting all the foundation items in place... or so I hope!

Fire Department

About Bryan the Chief. I became Fire Chief in 2007 and continue to volunteer in that position, having been promoted through the ranks since I joined the department in April of 1993.

I enjoy the fire operations side of the job, and tolerate the necessary political components.

We have a great department, an exquisite station, and excellent equipment. (We make the city departments jealous).

The best part of the job is working with my friends the firefighters. No matter the time of day, we know we can count on each other to get the job done.
